LOOK OUT FOR THE SIGNS by Natasha Turner
Nothing serious just feel sad
He threw harsh words at me
He said he loves me, he really does
All will be well, you’ll see.
Nothing serious just a threat
He was afraid he said.
What he said he did not mean
Never will he treat me bad.
Nothing serious just a push
He lost control he said.
He was sorry, so deeply sorry
Never will it occur again.
Nothing serious just a bruise
I made him angry he said
I’m too blame; it’s all my fault
Never will it happen again.
Very serious I have no life
I was too blind to see
Hoped he’ll change but things got worse
Never thought it will be me.
Can’t walk out, nowhere to go
There’s a child on the way
Look out for the signs before it’s late
For with your own life you’ll have to pay.
Look out for the signs before it’s late
Be the master of your own faith.
